Watching the room

See every seat from one screen.

Invigilators follow the whole room from a browser. They see which module each student is on and how long they have left. They can help a student without walking over.

The room

Everyone's progress at a glance.

Each candidate has a row with the module they are on and the time they have left. A seat that has gone quiet is marked so someone can go and look.

From your desk

Help one candidate without stopping the room.

Give someone extra time after a problem at their seat, or end a sitting early if you have to. The exam computer updates straight away.

  • Extra time for one candidate on the module they are sitting.
  • End a sitting from the screen. What they have done so far is handed in.
  • If everyone does Speaking in the same room, let candidates start in small groups so they do not talk over each other.

Warnings and flags

Anything unusual is written down.

The exam computer notes when something happens that should not, with the time it happened. The student sees a short notice when a blocked key is pressed.

  • Leaving the test window, a second screen, a blocked program or blocked keys.
  • If you switch them on, webcam pictures during the test, with a check for no face, two faces or looking away.
  • Webcam pictures are off until your centre turns them on.

The record

A record you can hand over.

Every test keeps its own record: when it started, what the computer noticed, any extra time and who gave it, and when it was handed in. If a result is ever questioned, it is all in one place.
